Kathleen Massmann

 

Kathleen Massmann is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Clinical Director of Healing Moments Counseling. She has over 20 years of experience working with a wide range of clients including individuals, couples, families and groups. Her bachelor’s degree was obtained from The College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University in English and Philosophy and her Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling was obtained from Capella University. Kathleen is a Certified Compassionate Bereavement Care Provider and she is certified by Postpartum Support International.

Kathleen enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, and utilizes an eclectic therapy approach tailored to meet the needs of her clients. She utilizes Client-Centered, Compassionate Bereavement Care, EMDR and Holistic Therapy to help clients reach their individual goals. Her belief in the personal power that each individual possesses, guides the therapy process. Her areas of specialty include: perinatal bereavement (pregnancy and infant loss), child loss, traumatic bereavement, depression, postpartum depression, postpartum mood disorders, anxiety, pregnancy after a loss, serious illness/terminal diagnosis and trauma.  Kathleen is a member of Pregnancy & Postpartum Support Minnesota, Postpartum Support International, Pregnancy Loss & Infant Death Alliance, International Stillbirth Alliance and The MISS Foundation Compassionate Bereavement Care Provider Network.

Shannon Breitkruetz

 

Shannon Breitkreutz is a Licensed Psychologist, with over 24 years experience working with individuals, couples and families in a variety of settings. She received a bachelor’s degree in social work from St. Cloud State University and she has a master’s degree in professional psychology from the University of St. Thomas.

Shannon enjoys working with families, women, and children, and utilizes a client-centered approach focusing on each client’s unique strengths to help them achieve their goals. Additionally, Shannon has experience using cognitive behavioral therapy and family therapy techniques. Areas of special interest include: depression, anxiety, grief and parenting through divorce.

Brooke Scherping

 

Brooke Scherping is a Masters Level Practitioner seeking advanced licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Brooke received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from North Dakota State University and her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Cloud State University. As a therapist, Brooke works within a systemic lens, looking at families and other systems from a big picture perspective. She also utilizes a holistic perspective with her work, Brooke believes that every person has their own story to tell and that their experiences help shape who they are. Brooke promotes an open therapeutic environment that utilizes compassion, humor and authenticity. She enjoys working with individuals, couples and families as they work toward the achievement of their goals. Areas of special interest include, parenting struggles, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, self-esteem/body image issues, life transitions and grief.

Melissa Villeneuve

 

Melissa Villeneuve is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, with over 11 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations in a wide variety of settings. She obtained her master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Virginia and completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from the University of Minnesota, Morris.

Melissa has extensive experience working with children, adults and families dealing with various issues, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, behavioral issues and relationships difficulties. She uses a collaborative and client-centered approach to assist clients in making positive changes in their lives and reaching their goals.

Brandy Brown 

Brandy Brown is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years experience working with families and individuals. In 2001 she obtained her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University. Brandy works with a variety of clients including  those working through issues associated with postpartum/perinatal mood disorders, miscarriage and infant loss. She also enjoys working with couples and fathers who are experiencing similar issues. Additionally, Brandy works with adolescents and individuals who want to improve their self-esteem, and who want to find relief from depression and anxiety.  Brandy has extensive training in CBT,  Perinatal Bereavement and Perinatal Mood Disorders. She is PSI certified and a member of Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Minnesota.

Anna Bailey

Anna Bailey is a Masters Level Practitioner seeking advanced licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Anna received her Bachelor’s Degree in Community Psychology from Saint Cloud State University and her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Cloud State University. Anna has developed the ability to work through a systemic lens by looking at the family in its entirety. She believes that what happens to one member of a family, affects the rest of the family system. As such, Anna works to understand the whole client, including their past and current relationships. Anna uses a combination of humor, compassion, empathy and encouragement to help clients achieve the positive change they are looking for. She enjoys working with individuals (both children, teens and adults), couples and families. Areas of special interest include, communication struggles, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, premarital counseling and issues associated with blending families. Christine Junod

Christine Junod is a Masters Level Practitioner seeking advanced licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, she received her Masters Degree from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN. Christine was a family pastor for 17 years and has continued her passion for helping children and families through her graduate studies. Christine utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on the individual situation. She enjoys working with children, teens, families and individuals as they work toward their goals. Christine has a particular interest in working with clients who would like to see improvement in communication, relationship-building, parenting, trauma, divorce recovery, family dynamics, pre-blending families, blended families and infidelity. Christine is certified in both CBT and DBT techniques and is qualified in the State of Minnesota under Rule 114 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a Mediator and a Parenting Consultant..

When she isn't at a coffee shop, Christine enjoys becoming an unlikely cook, blogging and working with textiles while hanging out with her family. She is still sad her beloved HGTV's Fixer Upper is no longer in production.

Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson is a Masters Level Psychotherapist, who graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Masters Degree in Counseling & Psychological Services. Eric received a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa.

Eric enjoys working with a wide variety of clients to address mental health issues and improve overall well-being. His therapeutic style has a focus on CBT, CBT-I and EFT. Eric strives to provide clients with the tools they need to facilitate positive change in their lives. He enjoys working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, insomnia, life changes and postpartum mood disorders as well as challenges associated with postpartum mood disorders for both partners. He is Postpartum Support International certified and a member of Pregnancy & Postpartum Support Minnesota.

In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his kids, playing sports and listening to music.

Gina Cadwallader

Gina Cadwallader is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist & Mediator. She earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008 from Argosy University-Twin Cities. Gina utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as other techniques to work with individuals (ages 12 and up), couples, and families. She works side by side with her clients to set small goals that can be built upon into big life changes. Her special interests include anger management, infidelity and sexual issues in relationships, divorce mediation, depression, and anxiety.

Jessica Gronli

Jessica Gronli is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Saint Cloud State University and her Master's in Social Work from the University of Saint Thomas/Saint Catherine University. As a Social Worker, Jessica works with individuals to create a safe place for self-expression and works to develop meaningful goals for lasting change. Her work embodies Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques.

Jessy Steinmetz earned her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University.  She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 5 years of experience working with youth, adults, and families.  She emphasizes a creative and collaborative therapeutic relationship, and her eclectic therapeutic style draws from various techniques, including DBT, narrative, art, and play. In her personal time, Jessy enjoys a variety of creative activities from coloring to cross-stitching, spending time with friends and family, and getting kitty love from her furr-babies.

Pepper Clemmensen

Pepper is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her bachelor’s degree in psychological science from Gustavus Adolphus College, and her master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Pepper has experience working with individuals and groups, and enjoys working with people who are dealing with diverse issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. She also has a special interest in working with individuals with disabilities and their family members. Pepper takes a client-centered, strength-based approach, and uses a combination of CBT and DBT techniques, mindfulness, and positive psychology.

Barb Brower

Barb Brower is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Licensed Dietitian, with additional training in integrative and functional nutrition. She is a seasoned medical nutrition therapy practitioner with knowledge and wisdom earned through a variety of career experiences. Her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics is from Mankato State University.

Realizing that there is more to nutrition than just food, Barb has completed many certificates and advanced training, including being a Certified Food & Spirit Practitioner. She believes that food is medicine, nutrition, fuel and energy. Her individualized approach guides and educates all ages to discover and succeed in achieving nutrition goals. She has experience across the nutritional spectrum from basic eating to digestion, blood sugar control, disordered eating, mood, supplements, the latest craze and nourishing your body, mind and spirit.Barb is a life long learner who enjoys her family, including eight grandchildren, new ventures, nature and striving for balance.

Danielle Hjelm

Danielle Hjelm is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Northwestern St. Paul, and her master’s degree in Counseling & Psychosocial Services from Saint Mary’s University of MN. Sean Miller

Sean is a Master’s Level Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and is currently attending Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN. He will complete his internship with Healing Moments Counseling under the supervision of Gina Cadwallader, LMFT. Sean completed his Bachelors of Science at Metropolitan State University and majored in Addiction Counseling. Sean is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and enjoys working with clients seeking freedom from addictive behaviors. Additionally, he is passionate about working with family systems. Sean believes the best in all people and understands that people do the best they can with what they have.

Sean is passionate about working with individuals, couples and families seeking to address life changes including but not limited to; pre-marital counseling, marital issues, divorce, life balance, intimacy, addiction issues, conflict resolution, spirituality and life transitions. Sean is a Certified Prepare/Encrich Facilitator and enjoys assisting couples looking to explore deeper levels of intimacy within their relationship. Sean provides Faith-based therapy upon request and enjoys working with all faith backgrounds.

Becca Rogers

Becca is a Master’s Level Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and is currently attending Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN. She will complete her internship with Healing Moments Counseling under the supervision of Gina Cadwallader, LMFT

Becca transitioned to graduate school after five years consulting for and managing professional associations. Her passion for developing trusting and empowering relationships with clients led her to leave the board room in favor of the therapeutic setting. Becca uses a systemic lens and framework, and utilizes a number of therapeutic approaches depending on what will be most helpful. She enjoys working with couples, families, and individuals (children, teens, and adults). She believes in each individual's potential for healthy growth and change, and collaborates with clients to identify and build on what is working, as well as to work through and change the things that are not. Becca fosters a warm and respectful environment with the goal of creating a safe space for clients to explore, gain awareness and understanding, and transform. Becca is a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and is actively working towards her Gottman Level I Certification.

In her free time, she enjoys being active outside, spending time with her husband, and attempting to recreate tasty treats she’s seen on The Great British Baking Show.
