Jane Borgen
Jane earned her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from Winona State University and is currently completing her clinical training toward LICSW licensure. She also holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies, an Associate Degree in Human Services, and is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in Minnesota.
Jane is passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate healing, growth, and recovery. She brings a warm, compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach, helping clients build self-awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and better understand the experiences that impact their mental health and well-being.
Jane works with adolescents ages 12 and older, adults, and couples. She has experience supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, fertility challenges, substance use, depression, domestic violence, and co-occurring mental health and addiction concerns. She recently completed specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to expand the support she can provide for trauma and emotional healing.
Jane believes meaningful change begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship and a safe space where clients can feel heard, valued, and supported.
Jane is working under the supervision of a LPCC, Board-Approved Supervisor and a LICSW, Board-Approved Supervisor.
