Alexis (Lexy) Stuve
Lexy holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Southwest Minnesota State University. This combined background allows her to draw from a broad, integrative skill set when addressing a wide range of concerns.
With clinical experience in both outpatient and school-based settings, Lexy has worked with clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. She is currently accepting adolescents, adults, and couples.
Lexy takes an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy, thoughtfully selecting evidence-based interventions that align with each client’s experiences and preferences. Grounded in a relationally focused philosophy, she believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and affirming space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Lexy has supported clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. She is also deeply committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care.
Outside of the therapy room, Lexy enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, reading, fishing, crocheting, and connecting with family—interests that help keep her grounded and present in both her personal and professional life.
